Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Provides physical therapy treatment as outlined in the Plan of Care (POC) created by the Physical Therapist to ensure accurate and consistent replication of the treatment program. Patient documentation is thorough and timely, enhancing communication and ensuring completion of Medical Record. Patient billing is appropriate and accurately reflects the services provided for each therapy session. Demonstrates commitment to personal growth and clinical excellence. Assists with program development, including general department programs, to assist with the development of marketing strategies and provide input to the Coordinators of these programs. Demonstrates responsibility with all job related duties. Attitude and communication approach reflects the core values of the Rehab department. Participates in the clinical instruction of students, to facilitate their education and promote the profession and department. Provides appropriate care specific to the age of the patient, to ensure understanding and comfort level of treatment, as outlined in the department specific “Age-Specific Competency Checklist”.
