Professional DevelopmentAs part of the Panoramic Health network, San Antonio Kidney (SAK) places providers at the center of care delivery, fostering exceptional patient outcomes and a supportive environment for clinicians. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioners and Acute Care Certified Physician Assistants to join our collaborative team. This opportunity is open to candidates of all experience levels, with a strong preference for those with backgrounds in dialysis, nephrology, hospitalist medicine, or cardiology. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure a smooth transition into the field of nephrology.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary (depending on experience)
Potential bonus of up to 10% net collections
12 Days of PTO 1st Year, and 5 Sick Days

Schedule & Practice Scope:

Dialysis center rounding
Daytime hospital coverage
Outpatient clinic coverage
Qualifications:
Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements.
Acute Care Certified - Required
Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
Knowledge of documentation in medical records in a confidential manner.
